The GreenMech QuadChip system incorporates a novel design of
chipping blade that can be quickly rotated, on site, to provide three more pre-sharpened cutting edges, before re-sharpening is necessary. That's less downtime, less maintenance and less cost over conventional systems.

Health and Safety "Buy Quiet" Campaign

To meet the UK Health and Safety Executive’s latest campaign to reduce noise levels, particularly on wood chippers, (one of the noisiest machines working in urban environments) GreenMech has reduced the QuadChip noise level initially to 114Lwa (96Dba). This compares with an average of 118 - 120Lwa, making it currently the quietest chipper available as well as one of the most versatile.

Additionally, the turntable facility, standard on the QuadChip 160 and optional on the QuadTrak 160, allows safe positioning of the infeed for roadside use, keeping the operator away from the traffic flow.
