The latest 'Quad' series of wood chippers now includes the go-anywhere, QuadTrak 160 tracked version, to cater for more difficult ground conditions, without sacrificing the benefits of a compact and versatile original design.

The QuadTrak 160 is a tracked 6" capacity wood chipper, with an optional turntable and tilt system, that closely follows the design of the successful QuadChip 160 road tow machine.
TILT AND TURN SYSTEM
This good looking chipper incorporates a track system as standard that allows the machine to travel over all terrains. When fitted with the optional tilt bed and turntable, it can be tilted and angled for stability and safe working on slopes up to 30º. In-built technology ensures the correct flow of oil to the engine at all times, while the track system also gives good ground clearance of up to 9.5" (240 mm), a belly pan protecting the chipper module.
ENGINE
The engine is a 34hp Kubota diesel engine providing reliable power to chipper and tracks. There is also a lockable fuel tank and oil dip stick on the hydraulic tank.
CAPACITY
The high throughput of each machine is provided by dual vertical feed rollers and a 6"x9" (160 mm x 230 mm) letterbox opening, offering an exceptional crushing capacity on difficult branches and fast processing of leafy brash. The wide operating platform positioned to give good access to controls and offers great visibility, allowing for safe and efficient tracking.
BLADE SYSTEM
The QuadChip 160 features a new square blade system, developed for the machine. An evolution of the successful and popular Disc-Blade that GreenMech pioneered, the QuadChip 160 blades are 4 sided giving 4 edges in one, offering an increased time period between rotations, plus a simple removal and sharpening process. (Alternatively, Disc-Blades can fitted to this machine for particular customer requirements).
FULLY FEATURED
Turbo Discharge of hot air from engine compartment (patent applied for) enables optional acoustic sealing and a more powerful discharge throw, resulting in reduced engine speed to revert to a normal throw, reduced noise levels and improved fuel economy.
To make maintenance and greasing easy we have included central greasing points to ensure correct applications. A Wide infeed chute aids easy reduction of bushy material and a fold down discharge chute allows compact storage.
QUADTRAK 160 TRAILER
A dedicated trailer has been designed to allow the operator safe and simple loading of the QuadTrak 160, with the added bonus of being able to use the chipper while still mounted on the trailer, therefore offering the concept of a road tow and tracked chipper all in one.
